Service Delivery Engineer
We are in search of a Service Delivery Engineer / Integrated Logistics Support Engineer to join Leidos UK.
In response to the success of the growing business, Leidos requires a Integrated Logistics Engineer to plan, design, and implement the integration process of the products we supply to our customers. The role also includes creating support documentation, understanding and improving the procurement process for to-be-in-service infrastructure and software products.

The Integrated Logistics Engineer could be a junior or mid-level position and will be under the direction and support of the ILS Manager, and will be responsible for a whole range of ILS activities across the programme lifecycle.
As a Integrated Logistics Engineer in Leidos you will be working on one of our key programs for the MOD. The programme is directly involved in ensuring the National Security of the UK.
What you will do
You will have relevant experience to be part the ILS team, and be responsible for the development and delivery of the optimised support solution for ILS programmes. You will require strong interpersonal skills to not only interact with members of the ILS and engineering teams, but also to interface to the customer. You should be experienced in working on UK MOD programmes; specifically those with a strong IT element. Ideally you will have an engineering or technical background. You will be responsible for implementing, monitoring and reporting on the status of the ILS programme.
You will be comfortable working in a dynamic, collaborative, delivery focused environment. Your experience of the defence sector will further enhance your ability to work closely with the customer.
Experience:
- Knowledge of modern IT infrastructure and software.
- Background in engineering or a technical field.
- Understanding of Stores process, and management of stock/ material items.
- Experience of working on military IT programmes.
- Knowledge of Configuration Management and NATO codification.
- Skills to engage the customer, supplier, and third party stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Def Stan 00-600, JSP 440 and the DLF.
- Ability to work within a team and to schedule.
Clearance Requirements: UK Security Clearance is a must requirement.
