Location: Bristol/Hybrid (1-2 days in the Bristol, Uk office a week)

The Role:

We are in search of a Junior Project Manager supporting the medical commissioning team within the Leidos Europe division based in Bristol, UK.

The role will require...

  • Leading the team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation
  • Leading initiatives from concept to delivering of proposal and receiving approval from the customer including risk mitigation
  • Coordinating internal and external resources to ensure that proposal adhere to scope provided by customer with in timelines agreed
  • Establishing and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on initiative status and changes

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage the flow and capture of new initiatives from customer
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with partners, including vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Lead the initiative refinement activities by collaborating with relevant stakeholders
  • Work with internal teams and partners to develop solution and schedule that aligns with organisation roadmap and customers expectation
  • Work with Finance team for collation of resource and commodity costs that form part of proposal
  • Work with Commercial team for assurance of proposal before submitting to customer
  • Providing updates to the customers on regular basis and managing customer expectations effectively
  • Adherence to governance and tools defined by PMO
  • Adherence to quality and performance standards and assessing risks
  • Report risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to Integrated Master Schedule
  • Support LCST Responsible Persons to ensure compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) activities, where applicable.

Skill & Experience Required:

  • In-depth project management experience
  • An asset - professional certification such as PMP or PRINCE2
  • Strong attention to deadlines and governance guidelines
  • Proven success working with all levels of management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
