IT Support Engineer
Provide 1st, 2nd, 3rd line support; track hardware and asset management; configure remote access hardware.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Responsible for remote support and onsite maintenance of our checkpoint automation, PC and server hardware; Maintain Windows and SQL Server environments; configure and install APC UPS’s;.
Shifted between Full time office hours out of office hours dependant on rota
Direct report to the Support Manager.
Working with Development and Testing implementation departments on checkpoint systems.
Working within the Service Department and with the Development and Testing implementation departments on current and future systems
Cross Functional Working
Continually build relationships with internal stakeholders to achieve the successful maintenance of checkpoint assets
Will need to work with the commissioning team to gain controls experience and understanding of the interfaced systems

Skills & Attributes
High level IT knowledge
PLC Controls Background
Proven experience of technical support
Previous experience in a similar working environment
Solid working knowledge of:
Windows Operating System
Network Infrastructure and cabling
High Level Problem solving
5 Year traceable work history
Fluent Written and Spoken English
Valid UK Passport
Wide ranging technical background
Previous experience in all or some of the following areas:
Electrical power systems
IT, Electrical & Controls qualifications to be taken into consideration
