Role overview

We require an experienced technical Windows Desktop Infrastructure Manager that will work with the existing Desktop and Service Delivery team to transition the deployment of a new Windows 10 desktop environment for one of our customers into a Business as Usual state and continue its onward development in conjunction with the customer and support teams.

This is a hands on role where the candidate will be working with the technologies, the governance and technical architecture required to meet the transition Project Deliverables, support migration and ensure the support organisation is ready for the new service.

Working from the Clients offices, representing Leidos and the values of doing the right thing for our customers is a key part of all our roles.

Duties & Responsibilities

It is expected that the successful candidate contribute to:
  • Managing and operating Transition Planning and Support activities
  • Managing service transition progress, changes, issues, risks and deviations
  • Quality review of all deployment plans
  • Communicating with customers, users and stakeholders
  • Getting hands on with the technology for support and development purposes
  • Working with the existing Desktop Service Team to ensure appropriate support is in place

Skills required
  • Proven experience with managing a large Windows 10 and Office 365 estate.
  • Windows Application Deployment Technologies in an Enterprise environment
  • Active Directory GPO
  • SCCM 2016
