Job Requisition:Incident Analyst
Description of Business Environment:
Leidos is developing its Information and Communications Technology (ICT) presence significantly in the UK. It has ambitions to bid for, win and execute a number of major UK Government ICT programmes. A key element of these programmes will involve the management of ICT operations in existing customer estates (including third-party services) and the introduction of a Leidos managed and delivered environment / ICT enterprise; including the design, transition and operations of new services.
Reporting into the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Incident Management, the Incident Administration Analyst will be responsible for the effective day to day running of all administrative requirements within a busy Incident Management Team within a SIAM function, based on the ITIL Management framework with a view to becoming an Incident Manager in the future.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Act as the central point for all Incident administrative activities
- Reporting requirements to facilitate monthly service reviews
- Ensure smooth progression to resolution of incidents
- Support the Incident Manager in their day to day activities
Essential skills and experience:
- Ability to work in an environment with evolving requirements and dynamic schedules
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Confident with ability to challenge and question
- Passionate about IT and service
- Kowledge of ITIL
Standard Job Description:
The processing and coordination of all administrative activities, to maintain accurate records and follow defined procedures to facilitate timely reporting to our customer and supplier towers. Support the Incident Analysts in their day to day activities with a view to eventually becoming an Incident Analyst.
Typical Minimum Education & Experience:
Ideally require someone who has studdied an IT related subject an obtained a certificate from an accredited college and capability typically achieved through a work placement. Will also consider individuals with equivalent experience / combined education.
