About the Role
The focus of the Defence Digital Transformation Portfolio is to provide innovative and transformative solutions and services to the defence sector. The portfolio is rapidly expanding and is seeking a Business Analyst with a background in the delivery of defence projects and new business captures. This role will support the Digital Transformation portfolio in the delivery of successful bids through the analysis and validation of customer requirements and Leidos offerings. You will analyse customer information, proposal material, and external information to create supporting materials for the team.
You will be a multi-skilled individual able to work across programme, technical solution, and service delivery work streams as part of proposal preparation. You will understand the process of business change and transformation management, bringing the capture, modelling, and analysis of benefits to the team. You will assess the value, cost, and conduct risk analysis against opportunities to enhance the business cases prepared by the Digital Transformation Portfolio Programme Manager. You will support work streams in organisational design and development as part of planning and design activity. Your experience will bring collaborative ways of working across stakeholders, including executive leadership. You will support the creation of management frameworks using Lean and Agile techniques.
You will have experience of knowledge management, acting as the holistic end to end lead for Knowledge Acquisition and Transfer planning and process development, in conjunction with the Leidos StarTT process.
You will be comfortable working in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Your experience of the defence sector will further enhance your ability to work closely with the customer and proposal teams.
You must have (or be able to acquire) SC clearance, with the willingness and ability to apply for enhanced clearances as required.

- Knowledge of the Defence sector
- Knowledge of ISO44001
- Strong facilitation skills and an ability to run requirements capture, KanBan, lessons learned and risk analysis workshops.
- BCS or equivalent Business Analysis certification
