Salary: £34,000.00 - 42,550.00.

The Delivery Managers will be joining the Leidos CORE and UK Connect teams, delivering enhancements and innovation of the services for a number of Leidos UK’s leading programmes.
The role:
Manage and own delivery of CORE / UK Connect development activity for a range of internal customers
Give the teams, customer and project the best possible opportunity to succeed in a variety of environments.
Work with multi-disciplined product you will be responsible for ensuring there is clear prioritisation, communication and delivery of digital solutions
Own the agile team processes, ensuring agile approaches are adopted and maintained.
Facilitating all agile ceremonies (e.g. standups, retros etc)
Coach teams and clients to enhance their agility and help them develop
Use varying tools and techniques to identify and drive improvements to quality and delivery
You’ll use appropriate metrics to track and forecast delivery, manage dependencies and expectations and highlight and improve inefficiencies in ways of working
You’ll enable teams by identifying and removing risks and impediments
Work with the Technical Leads, Product Owner and Service Delivery Manager for effective delivery of CORE priorities
Own the delivery plan and visualise and radiate information for agile teams and client to ensure transparency.
Personal Skills & Qualities
Experience in planning and delivering tasks through engagement with technical colleagues and customers
Experience in the use of Agile PM tools, ideally including JIRA and Confluence
An understanding of the Management of Risk
Strong communication and interpersonal skills – both verbal and written
Flexibility and agility in thought and daily working practices to accommodate customer direction
Effective problem solving skills
Desirable skills and experience:
Experience of managing delivery of software products into central government organisations or similar.
Development of successful products from alpha through to production.
Demonstrable experience of multiple agile methods, tools and practices (Scrum, Kanban, Lean etc.) and be able to pragmatically apply and coach them as required.
Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
